Are Item Upgrade As Important As Everyone Says

From RagnaWorld Wiki

Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrading gear increases its stats base and often enhances its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random enhancements used.

For instance, the top racial shield Razortail is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorb ability in PvP or to provide additional defenses on missile based builds in PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the perfect non-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens allow you to reroll an item you have acquired, such as a weapon, armor or rings. The item is replaced with another of the same kind and comes with different benefits. Reroll tokens can be an economical method of upgrading equipment. However, they don't retain the level of the original item and any resources wasted will not be refunded.

The surviving players can acquire Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests, or purchase them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens are used to change the attribute of an item of equipment, for example increasing the damage it can cause.

Players can roll their equipment into three aspects: physical power, magic power, and health. Physical power upgrades increase the damage caused by weapons and melee attacks and spell power improves rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades provide the player with an additional level of health.

There are three types of Reroll tokens: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades the item to a higher quality. To produce them, you'll need a higher level token for rerolling. Upgrades require a standard Best item upgrade. Rare upgrades require an item that is either exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

Unlike other special tokens and markers that are placed on action spaces the reroll marker stays in the space until the next success result is rerolled. This allows you to save upgrades.

Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase, and are opened by grabbing them using Interact. When they are opened they will display a complete description and an icon for the appliance or ingredient that they correspond to. Blueprints can be exchanged for new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's shop for a small amount of money.

During an event, blueprints may be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool as a result of the choice of Franchise Cards. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop has available for rerolls and those that are located in the Non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

Weapons and armor, as well as accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that boost the level of an item by increasing its stats or characteristics. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a fee. These stones can also be purchased by players who have completed daily contracts.

To upgrade gear players must first locate the item, then click the "level up button". The menu will appear that shows the item's current status and what it will be when being upgraded as well as the necessary amount of Growth Stones to do so. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade the item is determined by its rarity. Typically, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, while uncommon armor requires a single green or blue Growth Stone.

After selecting the item to upgrade the user must choose the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay the cost. After the player has met the requirements, he can select the upgrade option and apply the Growth Stones. This will increase the item's level by a specific percentage. Based on the rarity of the item the upgrade process can take between seconds and minutes.

The upgrade process is risk-free and doesn't affect the durability of the item. It's an excellent option for players who wish to gain an advantage in battle, but don't want to strain their wallets. Moreover players can transfer experience and progress of an upgraded item onto a new one by clicking on the "transfer" tab.

For new players, it can be difficult to acquire Growth Stones. There are a variety of methods to get these stones. You can complete contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, get them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book or collect them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.

Leveling

Leveling is a feature that allows players to increase the base stats of weapons armor, helms, and trinkets. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item with upgrade materials, and pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The process will use up the upgrade materials and give the item an increased level, which gives the item an additional boost in that area. This process can continue until the item reaches its highest level.

Items with upgraded base stats will display the blue icon in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments cannot be applied to more than one item at the same time. Furthermore each upgrade component will require a particular number of items to be added, as well as an initial amount for the equipment.

The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can choose to add items to be upgraded. On the right, an image of the gear looks like at its next level. When the player has enough items, pressing the yellow arrow will begin the upgrade process.

A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time an item is upgraded, its base stats will increase by a small percentage. The highest level for an item is 19.

When an item reaches its maximum level, its upgrades will no longer be available for it. Once a piece of equipment is upgraded to a certain track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades to that track will come with discounts.

Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can slot into weapons, armors trinkets, tools for gathering and weapons to give an extra effect or attribute benefit while the equipment is equipped. They can be bought from vendors, looted, obtained through questing or traded between players. Upgrade components can be changed with new ones. However, this could destroy the old upgrade.

Requirements

Upgrades to items give players the ability to increase certain stats on weapons and armor that they currently have. The requirements for upgrading an item will vary based on the type of Item Upgrader Kit but generally, you'll need Dilithium and a number of Upgrade Tokens (various options available).

Items can be upgraded by adding item upgrade components to weapons and equipment. These will provide extra effects or an increased item level. These upgrades can be obtained from various sources in the game, such as crafting, purchased at the Trading Post or karma vendors, looted from bosses and raids, or retrieved from dungeons. Once an upgrade component is added to an item, it isn't able to be removed or changed without restriction, however, glyphs placed in gathering tools can be swapped without restriction.

The upgrade of an item can boost its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can improve the item's stats.

The upgrade to the helm "Foundation of the Sun" For instance, increases defense base and provides an additional 20% chance to block. Additionally the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases weapon damage.

Some items are better off being upgraded less because of their improved stats and more for the fact that it lets players get the maximum amount of value out of a perfect roll on the Best item upgrader. For instance, a flawlessly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50x the non-upp'd version.

The game will display the requirements when you select the upgrade component that goes into the item upgrading. These include the item type (either Armor or Weapon) and the tier of that item, the Upgrade Token required, and the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.

The game will place an item in your inventory once you've completed the prerequisites for an upgrade. The progress bar will then change to show you how far to completing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an upgrade by visiting any item upgrader NPC.
