1. Roomba iRobot i3+ from iRobot EVO
The i3+ EVO is identical to its sibling, the i3 EVO. They differ only in the fact that the i3+ comes with self-emptying capabilities. That makes the i3+ a good option for those who want an entirely automated, hands-free cleaning experience but don't mind taking the time to empty their robot's trash bin when it is full.
Both robots excel at cleaning up surface debris from carpets and hard floors, and they are very good at getting around furniture and other obstacles. iAdapt navigation software creates smart maps of your home that assist the i3+ to navigate and clean efficiently. The i3+ doesn't have obstacle avoidance capabilities like the i7+ or any other top-rated robots we have tested. It can get stuck on power cords and socks and have difficulty navigating between different surfaces, like rug and hardwood.
iRobot recommends you clear out areas in which the i3+ EVO will vacuum prior to when you use it, and include clearing out any clutter or toys it may come across. It's also a good idea to keep the bin and filter clean so they do not become blocked by dirt. If the i3+ EVO's internal bin is full or the battery is empty it will return to its docking station, automatically empties its trash into the station's external dustbin, and then continues cleaning the area where it began. The battery's lifespan is around an hour and a half of continuous use. It takes three hours to charge.

The i7+ is faster and more agile in our tests than the eufy RoboVac G30. It also picked up large pet hair pieces from all surfaces including carpeting. The biggest advantage over the Eufy is its self-emptying bin that eliminates major sources of maintenance and lowers the cost of recurring maintenance.
We were also awestruck by the i7+’s compatibility with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant AI services. We used these services to instruct the robot to begin or stop cleaning sessions, as well as to move around the room and to vacuum a particular area. The iRobot Home App made it easy to connect the i7+ to these services. We were able, once connected, to speak commands to the i7+, for example "Hey Alexa vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home App also offers options to manage i7+ settings and monitoring the performance.
