Technology Is Making Item Upgrade Better Or Worse
World of Warcraft Item Upgrade and Set Bonuses
The upgrade to an item is an enchantment that increases the base stats of certain armor or weapons. This includes secondary statistics such as Leech and Speed.
A special item of evolution that allows Porygon2 to evolve into the game Porygon2. This item can be found at Pokestops or Gyms.
Universal upgrades can be utilized on any type of gear and offer less benefits than other components that are equipment type specific to the equipment type.
Leveling
Upgrades allow players to upgrade their items by increasing their levels. The increase in level also increases the item's "guaranteed" bonuses. Each level upgrade increases the stats on the item by +3 and adds an extra bonus based on the level of the item upgrader mod. These extras range from a +3 bonus to +1, to random buffs.
Each item can be upgraded for a specific number of times. After the upgrade the item is completed, it can be upgraded to a better-quality product with the same or greater worth.
This system is helpful for those who want to acquire equipment that has a specific amount of stats prior to acquiring a new item. The transfer system is easy to use and allows players to not waste upgrading materials.
Upgrade materials can be gathered by a player as they provide clear content. They can be used to improve or replace an item. Every item requires a distinct kind of upgrade material. Weapons require Destruction stones while armor items require Guardian or Harmony Leapstones. These materials are renamed when the item is upgraded, for instance Stone Fragments become Stones and Harmony Shards become Life Shards.
It is essential to upgrade items to boost a character's performance. However, it is also important to think about how much it will cost. Every time an item is upgraded, it will cost an amount of gold which could be better spent on a new piece of gear. This cost is the reason why it is best to upgrade only the most important items in any given situation.
This is essentially upgrading the weapon, then the chest, legs and helm. If the player can afford it then upgrading trinkets should be considered in this stage to increase their potential for procs. For example, a high-end Throne of Thunder trinket may be worth upgrading to get increased damage from its procs. Some trinkets, however, are not worth upgrading until they provide an upgrade that is significant in the particular build. This is especially true for the breakpoint gear that is used for high-value stats like IAS or FHR.
Rerolling
Rerolling is a method that lets players alter the stats of a weapon rings, or armor depending on the type of item upgrades. It can be used to replace existing bonuses or to create new ones. It can also be used to alter the item upgrader mod's power base.
Rerolling is a great way to boost your strength in the initial stages however it's not required. When you reach your level 6 upgrade goal, it's usually better to take a step back and locate the best upgrades you can or save to purchase the next set of items. This will ensure that you have a strong collection of items by the time you hit the level 9 upgrade goal.
Rerolling is similar to the level-up system. Reroll tokens can be used to remove any Level Up option and replace it with another. Reroll tokens, unlike Level Up do not reset an item's level. This means that when you roll an upgraded item, it won't be at the same level and won't be able to enjoy its additional bonus.
Players can also make use of a special mechanic, Eliminate, to remove any level Up option they have on their weapons or equipment. This is useful when you have a bad gacha or want to roll an item that has five stars. You'll need to set up a brand new account or sign up using social media.
In each town, you can also visit an Occultist to change the attributes or stats of a weapon or armor. This is useful if have a five-star unit that you want to improve or an elite four-star character you're struggling with.
Rerolling tokens are available by completing specific quests. These can be purchased from the Occultist for 300 gold or you can find them in the holozon boxes that are dropped after having completed certain dungeons. You can reroll any weapon, armor or ring by moving the icon on the page of your unit with the lock in the desired slot.
Sets
A set is a collection of items that are similar in some way. Sets are used every day. For example an egg dozen or a group of friends. They are helpful because they let you organize things, and operations like union, intersection and difference can help you to manage them effectively. Sets can be used in a variety of ways, such as organizing the music on a playlist or dividing students based on their grades.
In Nioh, the game uses sets to offer special effects to players when they wear specific pieces of an Armor Set. These bonuses, referred to Set Bonuses, are comparable to and sometimes even better than Effects. Although it is not explained why the armor sets must be worn together to produce these additional effects, they are a nice option to play with different effects when playing the game. The armor sets that have Set Bonuses are found in numerous locations around Hyrule like the Dark Moon Temple and Twilight Temple.
Every piece of equipment in the Set has a number of Set bonuses that go along with it. You can identify which ones are available by hovering over the item and looking at the tooltip at the bottom. The Set Bonuses will be displayed in an orange box.
Some of these set bonuses are only available to specific pieces of equipment. For example, if you equip the full Phantom Armor set you will get +8 defense (compared to the standard +3 defense offered by most equipment). Certain sets can only be obtained by completing certain tasks, or by purchasing them at the Auction House.
It is possible to get Set Bonuses for multiple pieces of equipment at the same time. If you own the complete Kestra's Descent Set, and the matching pieces of Twinblade of Shadow, you will receive the version with the + set's bonus if you match them.
Unlike Effects that change each time you upgrade them, Set Bonuses are the same, even as the individual pieces of equipment they're connected to rise. However, if an item is exemplarized to levels that are not enough the set bonus will stop working.
Set bonuses
Set bonuses are special effects that can appear on an item set, and provide an advantage to the player in battle. They give a certain percentage of a particular attribute, such as defenses, weapon damage, or resistances. They do not stack however, and only one of them will be active at any given time. The amount of a stat is determined by the number of pieces included in the set. For instance you can have four weapons and three chests however only one of them will be useful.
They usually enhance the primary stat but some boost secondary stats as well. Defence bonuses boost three positional defence values and two types of defenses. For instance the five-piece Hundings Rage set will give you a total of 400 defense in your equipment. This is a significant boost in the gear you use as a melee.
This is an excellent feature and one of the most popular features in the game. There are currently only a few gear sets have set bonuses, and they're only available in the Test Realm, but expect this number to rise once the update is live. The bonus will be added to the 7 school-specific Dragoons gear, as an example.
Set bonuses cannot be stacked inside a set but they do stack across sets. This is great for players who want to mix sets in the best possible way. It does require some planning. Set bonuses only affect the shell (not the armoring or mods) of an item of equipment, so you need to be careful when putting them.
It is important to know that the value of the bonus of a set will not change regardless of whether your exemplar level is greater than three levels below the minimum required for an enhancement. This rule doesn't apply to purple (Very rare) Sets, PvP Sets and Archetype Origin Sets. Their set bonuses are in effect regardless of exemplar level.
