Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can increase the performance of a piece of equipment and sometimes even its extras. The value of these upgrade is determined by the tiers of gear, their requirements and how many random augmentations are applied.
For instance, the premium shield of racial violence Razortail is commonly upgraded for its lightning absorb ability in PvP or to provide additional defenses to missile-based builds in PvM. This makes it more tradable than the non-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens permit you to roll a purchased item such as armor, weapon, or ring. This swaps the current item for another similar one and comes with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens can be an economical method of upgrading equipment. However, they don't keep the quality of the original item and any resources that are wasted won't be compensated for.
The surviving players can acquire Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be found in chests and crates, or purchased from the market at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to change the attribute of a piece equipment for example, increasing its damage.
Players can roll equipment in three categories: physical power, spell power and health. Upgrades to physical power can increase the damage of melee and weapons attack, while upgrades to spell power upgrade mage attacks and the ring. Health upgrades provide the player with additional health.
There are three types of Reroll tokens: upgrade rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to higher quality. To create them, you need a higher level token to reroll. Upgrades require a regular item. Rare upgrades require an item that is unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
In contrast to other special tokens and markers placed on Action spaces the reroll marker stays in the space until the next success result is repeated. This allows you to avoid wasting upgrades.
Blueprints appear as envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase and are opened by grabbing them with Interact. When they are opened they show a complete description and an icon for the corresponding Appliance or Ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's store for a small amount of money.
During an event, blueprints may be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool based on selected Franchise Cards. This affects the blueprints that the restaurant's shop sells to reroll and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve weapons, armor and other accessories. These are special stones which increase the level of an item by increasing its stats or attributes. These items can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. These stones can also be purchased by players who have completed daily contracts.
To upgrade gear players must first locate the item then click the "level up button". This will display a menu showing the item's current level and what it will be when being leveled up and the required amount of Growth Stones to achieve this. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade a piece depends on its rarity. Typically, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires a single green or blue Growth Stone.
After deciding what to upgrade, players must then select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. Once the player has met the requirements, he can hit the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. The item will be raised in level a certain percentage. Based on the rarity of the item the upgrade process can take between seconds and minutes.
The upgrade process also is risk-free, and does not impact the durability of the item. This is a great way for players who wish to gain an advantage in battle but don't want to burden their wallets. Furthermore players can transfer experience and advancement of an upgraded item to a new one by clicking on the "transfer" tab.
The process of obtaining Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be a challenge for new players. There are a variety of ways to acquire them, including completing contracts and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from the reward chests during the Ancient Arena season. Additionally players can also take apart the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.

This process can be repeated until the highest level of an item is attained.
Items with upgraded base stats display an icon of blue in their slot. Unlike enchantments, however, upgrade components do not stack with one another, and can only be added to a single item at a time. Furthermore, each upgrade component will require a particular quantity of items to be added, as well as an initial level for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station comes with two slots: the left is where players can place equipment that needs that they wish to upgrade, and the right side shows a glimpse of what the gear will appear like when it reaches its next level. Once the player has enough items by pressing the yellow arrow, it will start the upgrade process.

Certain items benefit from being upgraded less for their increased stats, but more because it allows players to gain the most value from a perfect roll on the item upgrading. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for example is highly sought-after by melee PvP communities and can be worth up to 20-50 times the non-upp’d version.
If you choose an upgrade component to slot into an item, the game will display a pop-up window that shows the required requirements. This includes the type of item (either Weapon or Armor) the level of the item and the upgrade Token required, and the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.
