Upgrades can boost the stats of a piece of equipment and sometimes even its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the amount of random enhancements that are applied.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens let you buy a new item, like a weapon, armor or ring. The item is swapped for another similar one and comes with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens can be an efficient method of upgrading equipment. However, they do not retain the level of the original item and any resources wasted aren't refunded.

The survivors can get reroll tokens in several ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in chests and crates, or purchased from the store at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens are used to alter the attribute of an item such as increasing its damage.

Players can reroll their equipment in three categories that include physical power, magical power and health. Physical power increases the damage caused by melee and weapons while spell power boosts rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades provide the player with additional health.

There are three kinds of Reroll tokens: upgrade rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to a better quality. To make them, you need a higher level token to reroll. Upgrades require a regular item. Rare upgrades require items that are either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

The reroll marker, unlike other markers or tokens that are placed on action spaces, stays on the spot until the next Success is being rerolled. This is a way to ensure that upgrades are not wasted.

Blueprints appear as envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase and can be opened by grabbing them with Interact. Once they're opened they will display a complete description and the icon of the relevant appliance or ingredient. The restaurant's shop will swap blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.

In the course of the course of a game, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool as a result of the choice of Franchise Cards. This affects the blueprints that the restaurant's shop offers for rerolls and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

Weapons, armor, and accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that increase the level of an item by increasing its stats or attributes. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a fee. They can also be obtained by players who have completed daily contracts.

To upgrade gear players first need to identify the appropriate item, and then click the "level up" button. This will show a list of the item's levels and what it will be after being upgraded. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the item. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the gear will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue) rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires a single Growth Stone.

Once they have decided on the upgrade, players must then select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. When the requirements have been fulfilled, the player may select the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will increase the item's level by a specific percentage. Depending on the item's rarity the upgrade items process can take anywhere from seconds to minutes.

The upgrade process also is risk-free and does not impact the longevity of the item. It's an excellent option for players who want to get an edge in combat but don't want spend a lot of money. Furthermore, players can transfer the experience and the progress of an upgraded item to a new one by clicking on the "transfer" tab.

New players may find it difficult to obtain Growth Stones. There are a variety of methods to obtain these stones, such as signing contracts and buying them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or getting them from the reward chests of the Ancient Arena season. In addition players can also take apart the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.

Leveling

Leveling is an optional feature that allows players to increase the stats of their weapons, armor, helms, and trinkets. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item with upgrade materials and also pay a cost in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The process will consume the upgrade materials and grant the item an increased level, which gives the item a boost in that area. This process can be repeated until the maximum level for an item has been reached.

Items with upgraded base stats will display a blue icon in their slot. Unlike enchantments, however, upgrade components do not stack with each other, but can only be added to one item at a time. Each upgrade component also requires a certain number of items as well as a certain level of equipment.

The Upgrade Station features two slots: the first is where players can add a piece of equipment to be upgraded, and the right slot shows a preview of what the equipment will look like once it is at its next level. When a player has enough materials by pressing the yellow arrow, it will begin the upgrade process.

An item of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time an item is upgraded, its stats will increase by a small percentage. The maximum level of an item is 19.

When an item is at its maximum capacity and is no longer upgraded, it does not have the option of upgrading. Also, when a piece of gear reaches a certain upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades for that track will come with discounted prices.

Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can slot into weapons, armors trinkets, tools for gathering and weapons to give an extra effect or attribute bonus when the equipment is in use. They can be bought from vendors, looted or obtained through questing, or traded between players. Upgrade components can be changed with new ones. However, this can destroy the old upgrade.

Upgrading an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Some upgrade items components come with additional modifiers that can improve the item's stats.

For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" improves base defense, and also adds an extra 20% chance of blocking. In addition the dps enhancement "Wildfire" increases weapon damage.

Certain items are better off being upgraded less because of their improved stats, but for the fact that it allows players to gain the maximum amount of value out of a perfect roll on the item. For instance, a flawlessly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50x the non-upp'd version.

When you select an upgrade component to be inserted into an item the game will display a pop-up window that shows the necessary requirements. These include the item type (either Weapon or Armor) the level of the item and the upgrade Token needed, and the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.

The game will add an item in your inventory after you have fulfilled the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will then update to show you how close to finishing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
