Upgrades to gear increase its stats base and often increases its other features. The worth of these upgrades is determined by the tiers of gear, their requirements, and how many random augmentations can be applied.

Reroll Tokens

Players can roll equipment with three attributes, physical power, spell power and health. Upgrades to physical power increase damage from weapons and melee attack, while upgrades to spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give players an additional level of health.
Three types of rerolls tokens are available in three categories: upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each of these upgrades an item to a better quality and requires an upgraded reroll token in order to create it. Upgrades require a common item upgrader. Rare upgrades require items that are either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
The marker that rerolls, unlike markers or tokens placed on action areas, remains on the space until the next success is to be rerolled. This is a way to prevent the waste of upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes that appear at the beginning of every Preparation phase. They can be opened using Interact by grasping them. When they are opened they show a complete description and an icon for the corresponding Appliance or Ingredient. These items can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. Moreover, players can obtain these stones by completing daily contracts.
To upgrade gear, the player must first locate the item then click the "level up button". This will display a menu that shows the item's current status and what it will be after being upgraded, along with the required amount of Growth Stones to do so. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Typically, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas uncommon armor requires only one green or blue Growth Stone.
After deciding on the item to upgrade the user must choose the number of Growth Stones that they want to purchase and pay the cost. Once the player has met the requirements, he can select the upgrade option and apply the Growth Stones. This will raise the item's level a certain percentage. Depending on the rarity of the item, the upgrade process can be as quick as a few seconds to minutes.
The upgrade process is risk-free and does not affect the item's longevity. This is a great way for players who want to get an edge in battle, but don't want to strain their wallets. Moreover, players can transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded item to a new one by clicking on the "transfer" tab.
New players may find it difficult to obtain Growth Stones. Leveling

Upgrades can be beneficial to some items, but not because they increase stats. They are more valuable to players if they can get the perfect roll. For instance, a flawlessly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50x more than the non-upp'd version.
The game will show you the requirements once you choose the upgrade component to be incorporated into the Best Item Upgrade. The game will show the requirements required when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
Once you've satisfied the requirements for upgrading, the game will place the item in your inventory and the progress bar will update to show how close to completing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
