Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

This is your chance to own a robot vacuum. CNET's best-rated models will be available for Black Friday and Cyber Monday, with discounts up to 57%..

The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot with smart mapping and app-based no go zones. Its 180-minute running time is impressive. It also self-empties and refills its water tank.

1. Roomba j7+ iRobot from iRobot.

The Roomba j7+ is iRobot's most advanced robot vacuum black friday vacuum to date. Its greatest breakthrough is its camera-based obstacle detection system that utilizes built-in AI to detect objects such as charging cords, shoes and the dreaded pet waste that most other robots can't avoid (and often go through). It's also the first robot to automatically send you a picture of an object it encounters so that you can tell it to avoid it in the future.

The Combo J7+ is the best robot mop we've ever tested. It picks up dirt and spills effortlessly leaving no trace it was there. It's easy to control through the iRobot Home app that lets you schedule cleaning and create Keep Out Zones to make sure it doesn't vacuum areas you don't want it to. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start and stop it with a voice.

The design is also more appealing than the other models. It has an elegant, top piece that resembles an toy, not an obnoxious and loud robot. And the Clean Base Automated Dirt Disposal System automatically empty and is ideal to speed up cleaning.

In our tests, we observed that the j7+ was quick to eliminated dirt, dust and hair from pets. Its counter-rotating rubber brush rolls kept the debris in one location instead of scattering it all over the floor. It was able capture small gravel, sand and even a bit of grit. Most robots could not accomplish this feat. And all of this without getting tangled up in our pet's hair shedding.

While it's not quite as efficient as the $1,217 iRobot Roomba s9+ Auto-Emptying Vacuum and can't clean stairs, the J7+ is an excellent choice for those who need mopping and a vacuum in their home. It's not too expensive, and the iRobot app makes it very user-friendly to use.

The iRobot Home App is easy to use, but we found it less reliable as other robotic cleaner apps. It can take a long time to download updates, and sometimes it's difficult to tell whether the update actually functioning until you've seen it in the action.

2. Roborock Q5+

When you're looking for a vacuum that does more than simply clean floors, the best combo vacuum choice is probably a hybrid. These bots are equipped with a water tank, so they can mop and vacuum simultaneously. These bots also come with various additional features, including smart vacuum cleaner mapping, small object avoidance, and the possibility of washing and re-drying mopping pads. The disadvantage is that they tend to be expensive when purchased at full retail price, but on Black Friday and Cyber Monday they usually drop in price.

Roborock makes some of our most loved robotic vacuums and the Q5+ is no exception. fail to impress. It's their most affordable auto-empty model, and although it lacks some of the features that are found on more expensive models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's still a great option if you're willing to compromise a bit in order to save some hundred dollars.

The Q5+ is noticeably soft around obstacles like wall legs and table legs, which makes it a good choice for homes with lots of furniture. It's also extremely thorough in cleaning up dust bunnies. This is a area where most robot vacuums of lower quality fall short. The Q5+'s navigation system is also top-quality, with a few misses along walls and in corners.

The Q5+, as with other Roborock products, can be controlled by just a few buttons on the device, or via the Roborock App. Through the app, you can start and stop cleanings and schedules, as well as create virtual barriers and no-go zones and alter your home map, or re-label rooms.

If you choose to purchase the Q5+ model, it comes with a brand new auto-empty dock specifically designed to make the robot simple to maintain. It requires a screwdriver install, but once it's in place, emptying the bin is simple. It features a large LCD screen that is very useful when setting up schedules and altering settings. This isn't a necessity for the majority of people but it can help you keep the track of the maintenance intervals for your robot easily.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a smart, well-rounded remote vacuum and mop. It's capable of both mopping and vacuuming. Its design and function are among the top available however it's expensive.

The base station is attractive and is easily hidden when not in use, and the size is quite compact. The station's main selling point is the fact that it automates a variety of tasks, chores and functions that other robots would leave to you. It can store dirty and clean water and also electrolyze and warm the water. Most other robovacs will require this.

Its vacuuming is also impressive. It's the only robovacs that I've tested that do an excellent job of collecting debris from unfinished floors, and it's not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot the 900 series.

However, the Freo X Ultra has its shortcomings, particularly when it comes to navigation. Its LiDAR and laser sensors aren't as reliable as some other robovacs. This means it sometimes gets stuck or confused in certain areas of the house. It's also not able to climb stairs like other models and doesn't come with a dock to create a clean zone for carpets with plush padding.

Although it doesn't provide as much in the way of cleaning configuration options in its app, or as many shortcuts in the app as some other robovacs, the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for anyone seeking a great all-round mop and vacuum cleaner that's worth the price tag.

However, if you're looking to save money or don't want to think about the limitations of this robotic there are many other options available with a wide range of eufy models for considerably less. The Eufy Qrevo curv, for instance, is cheaper, but offers many more features, like stair climbing and a full-function Dock, that provides a better overall vacuuming experience on bare floors carpets, low-pile carpets, and even high-pile carpets.

4. eufy RoboVac G30

eufy is an Anker company with a history of producing robot vacuums that have the right balance of performance, features, and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different, offering a capable cleaning on hard floors and carpets and mopping function too at an affordable price point. It's easy to setup by snapping one of the side brushes on, turn it on, and plug it into the charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps required to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. The dock must be placed near an outlet and have plenty of room to move.

The G30 is tiny, 2.85 inches tall to be precise and can be placed under couches and other furniture with a low clearance. Its design is less ostentatious when compared to rival models. It has a sleek black finish and three physical buttons for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs a spot in a spiral fashion over two minutes), Recharge and Spot Cleaner. You can also connect the G30 with Amazon Alexa or Google Home for voice commands to perform unscheduled cleaning.

The way the G30 cleans is what differentiates it from other models. It makes use of an integrated map to make a picture of the immovable objects in its path. It remembers the items it has cleaned and the areas it was unable to access. It automatically returns to the base to recharge and continues cleaning where it left off.

The eufy G30 has its flaws, though. The iRobot Roomba 675 is more constructed, has lower recurring costs, is charged faster and offers similar battery life while offering better performance on floors with no carpet and carpets with a low pile. It also comes with a larger dust bin that doesn't have to be empty as often and comes with an array of boundaries that keep it away from certain areas. The G30 is less expensive and easier to maintain. Its smaller container means it doesn't need to be empty as often and has less trouble with bulky materials such as cereal.
