The Reasons Item Upgrade Is Everywhere This Year
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades to gear increase its base stats, and sometimes boosts its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by the levels of gear, their requirements, and how many random augmentations are applied.
The most powerful racial Shield Razortail For instance, it is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorption capability in PvP, and/or to provide additional defenses to missile-based build in the PvM. This makes it more tradeable over the original version that is not upgraded.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens let you buy a new item, such as an armor, weapon or ring. The item is replaced by another item of the same type and comes with different benefits. Reroll tokens are an economical method of upgrading equipment. They don't maintain the original equipment's condition, and any resources wasted won't get compensated.
Survivors may acquire reroll tokens by a variety of means such as the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests, or buy them at the market for $150 each. Reroll tokens are used to alter the attribute of a piece equipment, for example increasing the damage it can cause.
Players can roll equipment with three attributes, physical power, spell power and health. Upgrades to physical power increase the damage of melee and weapons attack while upgrades to spell power upgrade mage attacks and the ring. Health upgrades give the player additional health.
Three types of reroll tokens are available: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to higher quality. To produce them, you need a higher-quality reroll token. Upgrades require a common item upgrades. Rare upgrades require an item that is either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
As opposed to other tokens or markers that are placed on action spaces the reroll marker stays on the space until the next Success result is to be rerolled. This helps to ensure that upgrades are not wasted.
Blueprints appear as envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase, and are opened by grabbing them using Interact. Once they are open they will display a complete description and the icon of the corresponding Appliance or Ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's shop for a small amount of coins.
As a result, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This changes the kind of blueprints that a restaurant's shop sells to reroll and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve armor, weapons and other items. These stones are special stones that increase the level of an item by increasing its stats or characteristics. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a fee. Moreover, players can obtain these stones by signing daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment to upgrade gear, players must first locate the item, then click the "level up button". This will display a list of the item's level, and what it will be after being leveled-up. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade the gear will depend on its rarity. Most often rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, while uncommon armor requires just one green or blue Growth Stone.
After deciding on what to upgrade, players need to select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the appropriate cost. When the requirements are satisfied, the user can then click the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. The item will be upgraded in level by a certain percentage. The process of upgrading can last from a few seconds to several minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process is risk-free, and does not impact the longevity of the item. It's an excellent option for players who want to gain an advantage in battle but don't want to strain their wallets. Furthermore players can transfer experience and progress of an upgraded item to new item by clicking the "transfer" tab.
The process of obtaining Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be daunting for new players. There are many methods to get the stones. You can finish contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, obtain them from Equipment Stone Seal Book or find them in reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that lets you increase the power of armor and weapons. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. It is achieved by adding upgrades at the Upgrade Station, paying a cost of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will use up the upgrade materials and grant the item a higher level, granting the item an additional boost in that particular area. The process will continue until the item reaches its highest level.
Items that have upgraded base stats display an icon of blue in their slot. Unlike enchantments, however, upgrade components don't stack with each other, but can only be added to a single item at one time. Additionally, each upgrade component will require a particular amount of items to be used in addition to an appropriate amount for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station comes with two slots: the left one is where players can add a piece of equipment that they wish to upgrade, and the right side shows a glimpse of what the equipment will look like once it is at its next level. When a player has enough materials by pressing the yellow arrow, it will initiate the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time the item is upgraded, its stats will be increased by a small amount. The maximum level of an item is 19.
When an item is at its maximum capacity that it can no longer have the option of upgrading. Likewise, once a piece of gear reaches an upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades for the track will be offered at discounted prices.
Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can be inserted into armors, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools to provide an extra effect or attribute bonus when the equipment is equipped. They can be bought from vendors, looted or obtained by completing quests or traded between players. Upgrade components can be changed with new ones. However, this will destroy the old upgrade.
Requirements
Upgrades to items give players the ability to boost certain stats on armor and weapons that they currently have equipped. The requirements to upgrade an item vary depending on the type of item upgrades, but typically you'll need Dilithium as well as a few Upgrade Tokens (various options available).
The upgrade items [click through the next website page] can be incorporated into equipment set pieces and weapons for added effects or a higher item level. These upgrades can be gotten through a variety of sources in the game, such as crafting, purchased at the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses and raids, or dropped from dungeons. Once an upgrade component is added to an object it isn't able to be removed or replaced. However it is possible to swap glyphs freely.
Upgrades can increase the Mark Level or Rarity. Some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can boost the item's stats.
For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" improves base defense, and gives an additional 20% chance to block. The DPS "Wildfire" however increases damage to weapons.
Some items benefit from upgrading not so much for their improved stats, but because it lets players get the maximum amount of value from a perfect roll on the item. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for example, is highly valued by melee PvP communities and could be worth up to 20-50 times the non-upp’d version.
When you select an upgrade component to slot into an item, the game will display an in-game window that lists the requirements required for that item. The game will show the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
The game will place an item in your inventory once you have met the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will then change to show you how close you are towards getting the upgrade completed. You can also track the status of an item upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
