Item upgrading is a key component to maximizing the power of your gear. It lets you add additional stats to the value of your item's base level.
Each upgrade template comes with a set of options that can be configured through the GUI. These options include the upgrading reference and the chance to upgrade.
Upgrade components
As part of the 2.0 update, the method of upgrading armor and weapons in Cyberpunk was redesigned. upgrade items components are scattered across Night City. The item you want to upgrade must also have an upgrade slot. If you select an item to upgrade the game will display an image of what the expected statistics will be following upgrading, along with the necessary component or item needed. Recycled Items
