World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades increase the value of certain numeric stats on armor, weapons and rings. Upgrades also boost bonuses like Crit chance and damage from PvE.

For instance an item with the upgrade template that is ending in % will gain 3% attack damage every time it upgrades (relative to its previous value).

The cost of upgrading an item is determined by the item's level. The cost increases with the item's level.

Components

Upgrade components are items that can be slotted into armor, weapons, and trinkets to give an extra stat boost or effect when they're used. They can be acquired through crafting, purchasing from vendors trading, or looting. Some upgrades can also be accompanied by specific cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can be inserted into any equipment with a slot for them. The item must have been at least upgraded to the blue level to allow a component to be inserted. Upgrade components, unlike other modifications, can only be applied only once. They are not able to be replaced or applied multiple times. Infusions and Enrichments are a kind of upgrade component that can be used to upgrade non-amulet legendary or ascended equipment, as well in some items that aren't ascended. Infusions and enrichments are recovered by salvaging ascended gear or completing an elite mission in the Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall campaigns.

An upgrade may include a suffix or prefix changing the name of the item to which it is applied (for instancethe "Canthan Armor Insignia is changed to Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). Some upgrades boost the Mark Level or Rarity, which allows players to create stronger versions of the equipment with the smallest amount of Upgrade Crystals than is required to achieve the same upgrade level through normal methods.

A 'boost' upgrade can change the attack or defence characteristics of a weapon, or armor. These upgrades are available to be crafted from the Portative Forging Station once the player completes the cutscene and defeats the Crazed mechanic. These upgrades can be obtained by purchasing them in the cash shop, or by getting them from enemies while upgrading other gear.

The player is able to have up to five boost upgrades at a time; each upgrade increases the chance that a higher-tier version of the item will drop during the next reset. This gives players a reason to upgrade their gear, even if they are unsure what can be improved upon an update.

The process of upgrading an item can be expensive and it is likely that the item upgrader will be obsolete, or even break, in the event that the upgrade fails. Upgrade Crystals and assist powders are also destroyed when an upgrade fails. This is reduced by the availability of cash shop items that increase or even eliminate the possibility of failure, and some upgrades that provide an additional benefit when they are inserted into an item.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to upgrade the Paragon Board by placing them in sockets that are specifically designed for. Glyphs buff the power of all nodes in the area around them and include pre-existing affixes to equipment. Glyphs can be upgraded a variety of ways, and we suggest upgrading them to 15 levels as soon as possible.

In the final game you'll find that the Best item upgrader way to improve your gear is to place Glyphs. They are the only upgrade component that can be upgraded straight to level 15 and provide an enormous boost to your power and radius on the Paragon Board, enabling you to climb higher nodes faster.

The majority of upgrades in the game can be replaced but Glyphs are the only upgrade component that can be removed and replaced without restriction. The only exception is legendary equipment, which requires an Black Lion Salvage Kit to salvage and re-place.

The value of each Glyph is displayed when you choose it in your inventory. You can replace it with a Glyph of the same rank or a higher rank, which will increase the value of the glyph.

There are Glyphs in the Black Lion Trading Post, as part of a Gem Store purchase or bundle with certain tools for gathering unlimited use and also through Faction Crypt raids. Each Faction Crypt can drop one of these Glyphs. There are also some rare glyphs you can find in any of the Faction Crypts.

When you have the desired Glyphs, you will have to put them on your equipment. Each Glyph unlocks a bonus that will boost the stats of a particular set of nodes that are within the radius of the Glyph. Depending on the Glyph the bonus will be +40 to one of your primary stats, or +25 to two of your secondary stats.

Glyphs will increase the number of nodes connected to them, therefore it is Best item upgrader to place Glyphs in the most important locations on the Graph. This will increase the impact. Druids for instance should put their Glyphs close to their primary damage nodes. They may also consider placing them near their primary damage nodes.

Leveling

The upgrade system for items allows players to increase the stats of specific items by adding upgraded components. This is known as "upping". Every upgradeable item is assigned a level which determines the final statistics. Upgraded items are able to be leveled up to a maximum of ilvl 385. Each item level requires various components, and upgrade costs increase with each level.

Certain upgrades require a certain ingredient to activate. This ingredient is obtained from the completion of Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be purchased from NPCs or on the upgrade tab in crafting tables. Each Upgrade Recipe that is completed earns several Technology Points. These points can be used to level the item, and once enough are earned, the upgrade can be claimed and its additional bonuses will be added to the item.

When an individual player upgrades an item it will be replaced with a new item. The same armor can be transformed into a weapon or a shield when upgraded. The new item will also come with a bonus of its own. This could be a drawback, as it can cause the item to become more expensive, even if you don't need it.

If the player has enough tokens they can reroll item upgrades. This will cause the item to be exchanged for a brand new one, which will have a level 1 base and a different set of bonus bonuses. This can be useful but it should not be used frequently as it can be a waste of resources.

Certain upgrades can be rerolled several times which increases their value and allowing the player to customize their equipment. Dolphin's Gift is a good example, as it provides an increase in power if the player continuously enters or leaves the water. This item can be upgraded multiple times by increasing the maximum roll each time by 10 increments. This item is very important in PvP. A well-rolled version could be worth up to 50x the value of its non-upgraded counterpart.

Requirements

The ability to upgrade items (mouse click the up coming post) allows players to increase the quality of their equippable equipment--armor, weapons, and trinkets that are above ilvl 385 by offering the appropriate items and currency to an NPC that upgrades items. Upgrades to armor set pieces boost the defense of the base set and weapon upgrades items increase their base damage as well as the required strength and dexterity.

All items are upgradeable up to five times, except for hero equipment, which can be upgraded eight times. Every each time you upgrade an item, it is given the chance to fail. The failure rate increases the farther you exceed the maximum amount of upgrades. Failures can cause the item to return to its original state which means that the player has to purchase more materials than if they had stopped upgrading after the maximum number.

If an item fails to upgrade, the amount of accumulated experience in its growth bar is reset to zero. Additionally the item will lose any bonuses it gained such as crit chance and attack damage, as well as any additional effects associated with that effect (for example, increased heal over time or reload speed). However, the user can still continue to use the weapon or armor following the failure.

When an item is upgraded the upgrades are applied from the lowest to highest. This means that should a weapon gain an increase in its crit chance the increase is applied prior to any increase in attack damage. Slots is a brand new attribute that has been added to item definitions. The value is calculated every time an upgrade occurs.

The amount of resources required to upgrade an item are based on its rarity rating and upgrade slot count. The cost for upgrading non-premium items is the same as the base value of the upgrade--for instance, a standard equipment item might have 5 upgrades with a cost of 25600 Technology Points, 4x Quality Improvement Chance. Hero quality items have lower costs per upgrade.

Premium items have different requirements for upgrading than standard gear--for instance, they might require fewer sowels, but more minerals and erons. Players will still have to bring each piece of gear they wish to upgrade to the NPC [Armor] Boboko located in Central Flarine. In addition to the upgrade costs mentioned above, each equipment upgrade will require the use of different ingredients needed to upgrade.
