World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades increase the value of certain numeric stats on armor, weapons and rings. They also boost extra bonuses such as PvE damage and crit chance.

If the weapon's upgrade template is in %, the weapon will increase 3% of its previous damage each time it is upgraded.

The cost of upgrading an item increases as it reaches the current level of the item. The cost rises with item's level.

Components

Upgrade components are items that can be slotted into armor, weapons, and trinkets to provide an extra stat boost or effect while they're in use. They can be obtained through crafting, buying from vendors or trading with other players, or looting. Certain upgrades also come with special cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can only be applied to equipment with a slot. The item must be upgraded to blue before the component can be used. Upgrade components, unlike other modifications, can only be applied once. They cannot be replaced or applied several times. Infusions and Enrichments are a type of upgrade component that is used to upgrade non-amulet legendary and ascended equipment, as well other items that are not ascended. Enrichments and Infusions can be obtained by salvaging equipment from the ascended state or completing a quest in the Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall campaigns.

An upgrade could have a prefix or suffix changing the name of the equipment with which it is used (for examplethe 'Canthan Armor Insignia" becomes Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). Certain upgrades boost an item's Mark Level, or Rarity, allowing players to create stronger versions of that equipment using less Upgrade Crystals than would be required to reach the same upgrade level through normal methods.

A 'boost upgrade' can modify the attack or defense attributes of a weapon or armor. After the player has completed the cutscene and defeated the Crazed Mechanist the upgrades can be made at the Portative Forging Station. These upgrades can be purchased by purchasing them in the cash shop or by getting them from enemies while upgrading other gear.

Each upgrade increases the probability that a higher-tier version of the item will be dropped during the next reset. This gives the player an incentive to keep improving their equipment even if they're uncertain of how much they'll improve after a future reset.

The boost upgrade may be successful or not, the process could be costly, and there is a high risk that the item may become obsolete or even break when it fails. A failed upgrade will ruin Upgrade Crystals and Assist Powder, as well as the upgraded item. Cash shop items can be used to minimize or eliminate the chance of failure. Certain upgrades also provide the player a bonus if they are they are reinserted.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to upgrade the Paragon Board by placing them in sockets with special functions. Glyphs boost the power of nodes within a radius, and include any pre-existing attaches. Glyphs can be upgraded in various ways, and we suggest getting them up to level 15 whenever you can.

The majority of upgrades in the game can be replaced, however, Glyphs are only the one upgrade component that can be removed and put back in place without restrictions. Only legendary equipment can be salvaged and re-placed using a Black Lion Salvage Kit.

Each Glyph has a certain range of values it can improve a stat by. The value is shown when you select the Glyph in your inventory. You can decide to replace it with a different Glyph of the same rank, or a higher rank, which will boost the value of the glyph.

Glyphs can be found in the Black Lion Trading Post as part of a Gem Store bundle or purchase them with certain tools that are unlimited in use as well as during Faction Crypt Raids. Every Faction Crypt has a chance to drop one of the numerous Glyphs, and there are some rare glyphs to be found as drops from any of the four Faction Crypts.

Once you have obtained the desired Glyphs then you have to put them on your gear. Each Glyph unlocks a unique bonus that boosts the stats of a specific set of nodes in the vicinity of the Glyph. This will either be +40 for one of your primary stats or +25 for two of your secondary stats, based on the Glyph.

Glyphs boost all nodes connected to them, so it is recommended to place Glyphs in key locations on the Graph. This will maximize the impact. For example an Druid should try to position their Glyphs close to their primary damage nodes but also think about placing them near crucial damage nodes, too.

Leveling

The system of upgrading items lets players increase the effectiveness of specific items by putting upgraded components into them. This is referred to as "upping". Every upgradeable item has an amount that determines its upgraded stats. Upgraded items can be leveled to a maximum of ilvl 385. Each level requires a different number of components to be reached and the cost of upgrading increase as the item is upgraded.

Some upgrades require an ingredient to be activated. This ingredient is obtained by finishing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes are available in the upgrade tab of a crafting table, or obtained from NPCs. Each completed Upgrade Recipe yields several Technology Points. These points can be used to level up the item upgrader, and when enough points are earned, the upgrade will be claimed and any additional bonuses will be added to the item.

When the player upgrades an item it is replaced with a different Item upgrader mod of the same type. This means that the same piece of armor will be transformed into a weapon or shield when upgraded. The new item also has its own bonus. This could be a problem in that it could make the item more expensive if you do not need it.

If the player has enough tokens they can reroll item upgrades. This causes the item to be exchanged for a brand new one, which will have an initial level and a different set of bonus bonuses. This can be useful, but should not be repeated often since it can waste resources.

Some upgrades can be rerolled many times, increasing their value and allows the player to modify their equipment. One example is Dolphin's Gift, which gives an advantage when a player repeatedly enters and exits water (or does not swim as dolphins). This item can be upgraded several times, increasing the maximum roll each time by 10 increments. This item upgrader mod is extremely valuable in PvP, as a perfectly rolled version of it could be worth between 20 and 50x its value without being upgraded.

Requirements

The ability to upgrade items allows players to upgrade the level of their available equipment - weapons, armor, and trinkets over ilvl 385 by providing the appropriate items and currency to an NPC who upgrades items. Upgrading armor set pieces will also increase the defense base of the item, and upgrading weapon items will increase the damage base and required strength and dexterity to match the requirements of the upgraded equipment.

Each item upgrade can be upgraded up to five times, with the exception of hero gear that can be upgraded up to eight times. Every time you upgrade a piece of equipment, it has a chance of failing. The failure rate increases as you go over the maximum number. Failures can result in the item returning to its original condition, which requires the player to spend additional resources than if they had stopped upgrading after the maximum amount.

If an item does not upgrade the amount of experience in its growth bar is reset to zero. The item will also lose any bonuses it has gained like crit chance damage to attack, additional effects (such as a higher healing rate over time or reloading speed). The player can continue to use their weapon or armor after the failure.

If an item is upgraded, the upgrades are applied from lowest to highest. This means that if a weapon receives a crit chance boost it will be applied prior to any attack damage increases. A new attribute known as Slots is now added to the definition of the item and the value is recomputed every time an upgrade is applied.

The amount of resources needed to upgrade an item are dependent on its rarity score and the number of upgrade slots. The cost of upgrading non-premium equipment is equal to the value of the base item. For example an item that is commonplace could have five upgrades at a cost of. 25,600 Technology Points and a 4x Quality Improvement Chance. Hero grade items will have an incredibly lower cost for each upgrade.

Premium items may require different upgrades than standard gear. For example, they may need fewer sowels, but more minerals and orons. The player will need to carry every piece of equipment they want to upgrade to the NPC [ArmorBoboko. Boboko located in Central Flarine. Each upgrade to equipment will require different amounts of ingredients needed to upgrade, in addition to the expenses listed above.
