Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can increase the stats of a piece of gear and, sometimes, even add extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random enhancements that are applied.

The elite racial Shield Razortail, for example, is often upgraded to increase its lightning absorption function in PvP, and/or to add additional defenses to missile-based designs in the PvM. This makes it more tradeable over the unupgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens are a way to reroll an item you have acquired like an armor, weapon, or rings. This allows you to swap the item for a different one of the same type with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens can be an efficient method of upgrading equipment. However, they don't keep the same level as the original item and any resources that are wasted won't be compensated for.

Survivors may acquire reroll tokens via a variety of methods, including from the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They are also available in crates and chests, or purchase them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to change an attribute of a piece of equipment, such as increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.

Players can roll their equipment in three categories: physical power, magic power and health. Upgrades to physical power boost the damage caused by weapons and melee attack while upgrades to spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades give the player an additional level of health.

There are three kinds of Reroll tokens: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades the item to higher quality. To produce them, you require a higher level token for rerolling. Enhanced upgrades require a common item, rare upgrades require a unique or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

The marker for rerolling, unlike markers or tokens that are placed on action areas, remains on the space until the next Success is rerolled. This allows you to avoid wasting upgrades.

Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase, and can be opened by grabbing them with Interact. When they are opened, they will display an explanation and icon for the appliance or ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's store for a small amount of coins.

During a run, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool due to selected Franchise Cards. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop has available for rerolls and those that are located in the Non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade weapons, armor and accessories. These are special stones that increase an item's level by increasing its stats and attributes. These items can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. Moreover, players can obtain these stones by completing daily contracts.

To upgrade gear players must first locate the item, then click the "level up button". The screen will show a summary of the item's current level and what it will become after being upgraded. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade item an item will depend on its rarity. Most often, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires a single blue or green Growth Stone.

After deciding on the item to upgrade, the user must choose the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay the cost. When the requirements are met, the player can then click the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. The item will be upgraded in level by a specific percentage. The process of upgrading can last between a few seconds and minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.

The upgrade process is risk-free, and does not impact the longevity of the item. It's an excellent option for players who wish to get an edge in combat, but don't want to burden their wallets. Clicking on the "transfer tab" players can transfer their experience and progress of an upgraded piece of gear onto a new piece of gear.

New players may find it difficult to obtain Growth Stones. There are several methods to get these stones. You can complete contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, get them from Equipment Stone Seal Book or collect them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.

Leveling

Leveling is an option that lets players boost the stats of their weapons armor, helms and trinkets. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item with upgrade materials and also pay a cost in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The upgrade materials will be consumed and the item will receive a higher level. This process can continue until the item is at its highest level.

Items that have upgraded stats will display an icon of blue next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments cannot be applied to more than one item at the same time. Each upgrade component also requires the purchase of a certain amount of items, as well as a minimum level of equipment.

The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can choose to add an item to be upgraded. On the right, a preview shows what the gear looks like at its next level. Once a player has enough materials by pressing the yellow arrow, it will initiate the upgrade process.

A piece of gear can be upgraded up to five times. Each time the item upgrader kit is upgraded, its stats will be increased by a small amount. The maximum level for an item is 19.

Once an item upgrading has reached its highest level, upgrades are no longer available to it. Also, when an item is on a certain upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.

Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that is able to be inserted into armors, weapons trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets to give an additional benefit or bonus while the equipment is equipped. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by new ones, but doing so could destroy the previous upgrade, excluding for glyphs that can be replaced and removed at any time.

Requirements

Upgrades to items allow players to increase the stats of certain armors and weapons they already have. The requirements to upgrade an item vary depending on the kind of item, but typically you'll need Dilithium and a number of Upgrade Tokens (various options available).

The upgrade items can be incorporated into equipment set pieces and weapons for added effects or a higher quality item. These upgrades can be obtained through a variety of sources in the game, such as crafting, purchased at the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses or raids, or collected from dungeons. Once an upgrade component is added to an object it cannot be removed or replaced. However it is possible to swap glyphs freely.

Upgrades can boost the Mark Level of an item or Rarity. In addition, some upgrade components have additional modifiers that could further improve the item's stats.

For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" increases base defense, and also provides an additional 20% chance to block. In addition the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases weapon damage.

Upgrades can be beneficial to some items, but not because they increase stats. They are more valuable to players when they get the perfect roll. For instance, a perfectly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50x the non-upp'd version.

The game will show you the requirements once you choose the upgrade component that goes into the item. These include the item type (either Weapon or Armor) the tier of the item and the Upgrade Token required, as well as the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.

The game will place an item in your inventory once you have met the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will then update to show you how close you are towards finishing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an upgrade by visiting any item upgrader NPC.
