Upgrades can increase the stats of a piece and at times even add additional features. The value of these upgrade is determined by the levels of gear, their requirements and how many random augmentations are applied.

For instance, the premium shield for racial discrimination Razortail is commonly upgraded for its lightning absorb ability in PvP or to add additional defenses to missile-based designs in PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the non-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens allow you to reroll a purchased item like an armor, weapon or rings. The Best item upgrade is replaced with an identical item, but with different benefits. Reroll tokens are an affordable option to upgrade equipment. However, they do not retain the same level as the original item and any resources that are wasted aren't refunded.

The surviving players can acquire reroll tokens in several ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be located in crates and chests or purchased from the market for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to change the attributes of a piece of equipment for example, increasing its damage or granting it a new stat.

Players can roll their equipment in three aspects three categories: physical power, magic power and health. Upgrades to physical power boost the damage caused by weapons and melee attack and spell power upgrade mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give the player an additional amount of health.

There are three types of Reroll tokens: upgrade, rare, and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item upgrades to a better quality. To produce them, you require a higher level token for rerolling. Upgrades require a common item. Rare upgrades require an item that is either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

The marker for rerolling, unlike special tokens or markers placed on action spaces, remains on the space till the next success is to be rerolled. This lets you not waste upgrades.

Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Stage, and are opened by grabbing them with Interact. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Typically rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas uncommon armor requires a single blue or green Growth Stone.

After deciding on what to upgrade, players must then select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. After the player has met the requirements, he is able to hit the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. This will raise the item's level by a specific percentage. The upgrade process can take between a few seconds and minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.

The upgrade process also is risk-free, and does not affect the item's longevity. This makes the system an excellent way for players to gain an advantage in combat without putting stress on their bank account. Furthermore players can transfer experience and the progress of an upgraded item onto a new gear by clicking on the "transfer" tab.

New players may find it difficult to acquire Growth Stones. However, there are many methods to obtain them, including contract completion and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or getting them from the reward chests during the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.

Leveling

Leveling is an optional feature that lets players increase the base stats of weapons armor, helms and trinkets. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item with upgrade materials, and then pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The process will use up the upgrade components and grant the item a higher level, granting the item a boost in that area. This process continues until the item is at its highest level.

Items that have upgraded stats will display an icon of blue next to their slot. Contrary to enchantments upgrade components cannot be stacked with each other, but can only be added to a single item at one time. Each upgrade component will require the purchase of a certain amount of items and a minimum level of equipment.

The Upgrade Station has two slots: the left one is where players can put in equipment that needs to be upgraded, and the right slot shows a preview of what the equipment will look like once it is at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow after the player has enough materials will begin the upgrade process.

A piece of equipment may be upgraded up to five times. Each time it is upgraded, the stats of the base item will be increased by only a tiny amount. The maximum level for an item is 19.

Once an item has reached its maximum level, its upgrades will no longer be available to it. Once a piece of equipment attains a certain upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer) upgrades to the track will be offered at a discount.

Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can be put into weapons, armor, trinkets, and gathering tools to provide an attribute bonus or extra effect while the equipment is being used. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, acquired by completing quests, or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, but doing so will damage the previous upgrade, except for glyphs which can be replaced and removed at any time.

Requirements

Items upgrades allow players to boost the stats of certain armors and weapons they already have. The requirements to upgrade an item differ based on the type of item however, generally you'll require Dilithium and a variety of Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).

Item upgrade components can be slotted into equipment sets and weapons for additional effects or to increase the quality item. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources, such as crafting, buying at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from raids and bosses. Once an upgrade component has been placed into an object, it is not able to be removed or replaced. However it is possible to swap glyphs freely.

Upgrades to an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Additionally, some upgrade components come with additional modifiers which can further improve the item upgrader mod's stats.

The upgrade to the helm "Foundation of the Sun" For example, increases base defense and provides an additional 20 percent chance of blocking. The DPS "Wildfire" on the other hand increases damage to weapons.

Upgrades can be beneficial for some items, but not because they boost stats. They are more valuable for the players when they get an exact roll. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for instance, is highly valued by melee PvP communities and can be worth up to 20-50 times the non-upp’d version.

When you select an upgrade component to slot into an item the game will show an open window that displays the necessary requirements. These include the type of item (either weapon or armor), the level of the item as well as the Upgrade Token required, and the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.
